Long Stay at Hotel HC Grand October-December 2018

Overall, a perfectly decent 3 star hotel which we stayed in for two and a half months while my husband was recuperating from a kidney transplant at Indraprastha Apollo hospital, New Delhi. The room rate included a breakfast every morning, but there are also lunch and dinner options available at extra cost. The food was decent here, although a bit pricey, but was always served hot. Meals are brought to your room - there is no restaurant. Despite a few communication barriers with the staff, we found them to be helpful, friendly and well meaning. The rooms were clean and spacious, offering tea and coffee making facilities, free wifi, television with a variety of international movie channels in English, a daily room cleaning service and laundry service. We would suggest that the hotel monitors the laundry service more carefully as many times when we sent laundry in for cleaning, we either did not receive everything back, or received somebody else’s clothes mixed up with our own. Additionally, if you have a preferred method of payment for your stay eg cash or card, please discuss this with management from the start so that both parties agree. We started out by paying cash but then due to restricted funds resulting from our medical expenses, were forced to pay for the remainder of our stay with an international card. While many hotels in India accept this method of payment, this caused a few issues with management at HC GRAND who like to receive payment in part cash. All in all, we were happy to stay at this hotel and would happily stay there again.

The hotel offers comfortable cosy ac rooms with complimentary breakfast.for those travelers who just want to spend few days in delhi for any official visit or any hospital visit then this is a budget hotel but offers comfortable stay.the staff is also warm and courteous.plus they have complimentary tea and coffee in the rooms.its also close to Jasola Vihar metro station in New Delhi.

My wife and I went to Delhi to visit a close friend of ours from Nagaland undergoing treatment in Apollo Hospital. The pictures on the internet look great giving us the impression the hotel is of high standard with spacious rooms as they claim it be a 3 star hotel. They are actually OYO rooms. Pros: Clean rooms and washrooms. Friendly Staff Secure Place Cons: Congested Rooms No restaurant Very limited toiletries In my opinion, this hotel is more of luxury OYO rooms than a star hotel

As a first time visit to India, I was looking for a safe, comfortable, and affordable hotel in New Delhi. I am very happy with my choice of HC Grand, in Jasola. The hotel is clean and well appointed, with modern separate shower in bathroom, individual geyser for 24 hrs. hot water; satellite t.v with foreign channels, daily housekeeping with full set of toiletries; and sufficient parking in front. Everyone at the hotel was polite and I felt quite safe during my stay of 1+3 nights. Breakfast was included in my room plan, and while limited in choice, it was quite sufficient. My reservation with late check-in was processed smoothly, and the hotel accepted the booking.com reservation(s) with no additional charges. Although a bit removed from central Delhi, the hotel has good road connections, and is only a 20 minutes walk from Jasola Apollo metro station. All in all, it is an executive type hotel at budget hotel prices. Highly recommended.
